- Dr. Hüseyin Sinan was born in 1971 in the Besni district of Adıyaman. He is married, has a child and has a good command of English.
- Dr. Hüseyin Sinan was awarded the title of Associate Professor of General Surgery by succeeding in the oral exam held by the Interuniversity Board on March 17, 2014.
- After working as a faculty member at Ankara GATA General Surgery Department for 2 years, as of August 2017, he worked in the Metabolic Surgery Clinic in Istanbul for more than 2 years and personally participated in approximately 1500 surgeries.
- He has served as an invited speaker and session chair in 30 international publications, 25 domestic publications, book chapter authorship, book translator, over 100 posters and oral presentations presented at national and international meetings. |

- He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Istanbul.
- He entered the Gülhane Military Medical Academy
Military Medicine Faculty in 1990 and graduated as a Medical
Lieutenant in 1996. |

Professional Experience

- After his compulsory continental service in Şırnak, he attended
Istanbul GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital for General
Surgery specialization training between 1999-2003.
- He worked as a General Surgery Specialist at Samsun Military
Hospital between 2003-2008.
- He worked as a Visiting Scholar and Research Fellow for 1
year on "Advance Laparoscopic Surgery" at the Washington
University Center for Videoendoscopic Surgery in Seattle, USA.
- After working at Ankara GATA Emergency Medicine Department and General Surgery Department for 2 years, he was appointed to Ankara Mevki Military Hospital, where he worked for 2 years.
- He was appointed to the Van Military Hospital in 2013 and served as the head doctor for 2 years.
- Assoc. Dr. Hüseyin Sinan was appointed to the professorship in December 2019. |
