Cataract surgery is a simple procedure where a surgeon removes the eye's clouded natural lens and replaces them with artificial intraocular lens (IOL).
The entire operation is usually done on an outpatient basis and lasts between 15 and 30 minutes. Patients may experience little to no pain and can usually return to their normal activities the following day.

Duration of procedure/surgery : 15-30 minutes
